levels will be modified to ensure that the cut
and fill volumes are balanced therefore
reducing the quantity of material to be
imported or removed from site
The proposed treatment measures will be
designed in accordance with the
International Erosion Control Association
Australasia standards and standard drawings
to ensure that the proposed works minimise
any impact on the downstream water
quality.
A SPEL Puraceptor is proposed within the
refueling area to capture and treat and
stormwater runoff from this area that may
be contaminated with hydrocarbons. The
SPEL Puraceptor is also sized to ensure that
it is capable of capturing the total volume of
a petrol tanker to ensure that no
contaminated runoff will leave the site.
Effluent from the site is to be collected and
pumped to the existing sewer network.
Emergency storage will be provided to
ensure that in the event that the pump
station fails, effluent will not be discharged
from the site.
The proposed development includes the use of
a detention basin to reduce stormwater
quantity runoff to pre-development levels.
