Amendment to Approved Plans
A Development Permit for Operational Works - Vehicle Crossover was issued by Council on 30 August 2022
associated with the higher order approval (RAP19/0035.01).
As per recent correspondence and following an on-site meeting held 03 September 2024, the applicant proposes
to make a change to the approved OPW plans to alter some minor elements to the footpath, driveway and
streetscape. As illustrated in the amended plans (Attachment 1) the changes include:
• Reduced footpath width to 1.5m and matching in with existing paths;
• New kerb and channel Type M1 along site frontage, as opposed to Type B;
• Replace adjoining neighbours existing crossover to improve alignment and kerb transitions (see
Attachment 2 for consent); and

• Add new section of 1.5m wide footpath on southern side of neighbour’s driveway to match in with
existing.
The proposed plan amendments are minor in nature and will not result in any additional impacts, nor will it
create any non-compliances with the outcomes sought by the relevant codes of the Noosa Plan. In fact, the
proposed changes all result in positive design outcomes for the appearance of the development and the
occupants. It should be considered that these changes fall within the bounds of Condition 1 and are ‘generally
in accordance’ with the higher order development approval(s) and approved plans.
It is requested that the revised plans (Attachment 1) be endorsed by Council as being Generally In Accordance
with the Approved Plans.
It is respectively requested that Council approve the amended plans in a timely manner to ensure the compliance
process and survey plan endorsement is not hindered or delayed.
Yours faithfully,
