 1.0 Introduction


This report has been prepared to support a development application for a Material Change of Use
Caretakers Unit). The proposal sits within the Noosa Shire Council’s jurisdiction, who administer the
planning scheme relevant to the proposal, being the Noosa Plan 2006 (current version is dated 8 June
2018).


Building Suncoast Green have been engaged as the applicants for this application on behalf of the property
owner. The registered property owners, being Turner Property Group for Lot 1 SP170305 and the Body
Corporate for Lot 0 SP170305 have given consent to the making of this application which has been
attached with this document.


The applicant wishes to obtain approval to construct a caretakers unit within an existing building, the
activity is defined as ‘Ancillary Dwelling Unit’ which requires code assessment pursuant of the relevant
assessment benchmarks within the Noosa Plan 2006.
