e The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority deems specific reporting
requirements for our industry:

“Any circumstances that pose a risk to the health, safety or wellbeing of a child”.

You must notify the regulatory authority within 7 days of becoming aware of a
circumstance arising at the service that poses a risk fo the health, safety or wellbeing of a

child (Regulation 175(2}(c), Regulation 176(2}(c))

«| deem this proposed development as a significant risk to the safety and wellbeing of
the children in my care and would thus be reporting this short term accomodation

business as | am required to do so.
POTENTIAL EXPOSURE TO INAPPROPRIATE THEMES AND LANGUAGE

* The outside living area, including the pool, is situated along our shared fence line with
this property. Over the last two weeks when there have been people staying and using
the outside area, their conversations can be easily heard.

« If there is a frequent change in residents in this property, the children could potentially
be exposed to a range of inappropriate conversation themes as well as inappropriate
and cursive language. There is no way to shelter the children from this other than to take
them inside. This is not satisfactory as part of the service we offer is for the children to
have regular access to an outdoor play environment.

| hope that you consider the detrimental impacts on the children at our service if this
proposal was to go ahead and decline the change of use to Short Term Accomodation
in the interests of the children and their families that use our service.
