APPENDIX C: CERTIFICATION OF SUITABLY QUALIFIED
PERSON FOR FLORA SURVEY
Native Foresters flora surveys are undertaken by competent and trained personnel led by Vanessa
Moscato.

Vanessa Moscato (BSc) also undertakes flora surveys as part of the Native Foresters flora survey team.
Vanessa has been undertaking flora surveys, including EVNT species surveys for twelve years, including:

    ▪    Flora and Fauna Assessment - Petrie Creek Bank Stabilisation (2017)
    ▪    Plot survey of Pararistolochia praevenosa - Nambour Landfill Expansion (2015-2017)
    ▪    Flora Assessment - Maleny Southern Wetlands (2016)
    ▪    Flora Assessment - Jimna Bellthorpe Road bridge, West Kilcoy (2016)
    ▪    Population survey of Symplocos harroldii at Daintree Estate, Tewantin (2014)


The following statement is provided in certification of the suitably qualified person who conducted the flora
survey.

I certify that
(a) I have adhered to all statutory requirements and flora survey guideline requirements, and
(b) the flora survey report is an accurate and full account of the flora survey.
I have previously been approved by EHP under the Nambour Landfill Expansion project – Fauna and
Flora Assessment, prepared for Noosa Council.
