Key focus areas 2016-2021
1. Implement the Noosa Social Strategy.
2. Adopt and implement the following plans that form part of our Social Strategy - Arts, Culture and Heritage
Plan, Community Health and Safety Plan and Sport and Active Recreation Plan.
3. Support the growth of our tertiary education sector.
4. Implement the Libraries Strategic Plan.
5. Formalise tenure arrangements for the community’s use of Council trustee land and buildings.

6. Plan and build an iconic playground at Cooroy.
7. Undertake a Pre-Feasibility study for a Regional Art Gallery building.

8. Support our Health and Aged Care sectors in response to Noosa’s aging demographic.
