PEKOL TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT 3.6 3.7 Queuing It is estimated that there is a combined queuing distance (at the two points of vehicular access) of around 70m (sufficient to accommodate more than 10 cars). This is considered appropriate for the number of on- site parking spaces (ie 216 spaces) and complies with the requirements of AS2890.1. We estimate that the site would be able to accommodate at least 10 vehicles queuing for the fuel pumps (not including those parked at the pumps). Servicing An on-site loading / refuse collection area is proposed at the rear of the service station, restaurant and retail components of the development. The Noosa Plan does not specify a design vehicle for this type and size of development. However, this service area could comfortably accommodate a 12.5m heavy rigid vehicle (HRV). It is expected that all servicing movements would use the Myall Street access intersection and any amenity impacts associated with increased heavy vehicle movements on Ferrells Road would be limited.
