PEKOL TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT 4.3 Traffic Distribution The distribution of the proposed development related traffic on the existing road network has been estimated based on the directional split inherent in the traffic surveys. We have made the assumption that 90% of traffic would arrive and depart the site using the main access on Myall Street with 10% using the Ferrells Road access. The expected development traffic distribution is shown in Figure 4.3. 4.4 Intersection Performance A series of SIDRA analyses were conducted for the following intersections: == Myall Street / Site Access priority intersection m= Myall Street / Ferrells Road priority intersection == § Myall Street / Bruce Highway Ramps priority intersection These were based on the turning movement forecasts presented in Appendix D for the following scenarios: Existing year (2014) Opening year (2016) pre-development Opening year (2016) post-development Future year (2026) pre-development Future year (2026) post-development The results of these analyses are presented in Appendix C and discussed in more detail below. We have not undertaken a SIDRA assessment of the Ferrells Road / Site Access intersection due to the low levels of traffic anticipated to use this intersection. 4.4.1 Myall Street / Site Access The SIDRA analysis of the Myall Street / Site Access priority intersection was undertaken using the intersection layout as shown in Figure 4.4. The results of these analyses are attached in Appendix C, and are summarised in Table 4.6. P:\2012-13\13-082 MYALL STREET, COOROY\REPORTS\MYALL STREET, COOROY TIA.DOCX 18
