accessing the site.
SUMMARY OF ANTICIPATED PROJECT PERMITS
Footpath Closure: No pedestrian access via the existing access easement will be permitted during the works.
It is not anticipated that the footpath at Hoffman Drive will be affected during the works.
Works Zone: NA – all works are to be completed within the site boundary.
Road Closure: Road Closures to complete the works are not proposed. Traffic Management at the private
easement will be used for hold and release purposes to ensure that access to neighbouring properties is
maintained at all times.
Out of Hours: It is not anticipated that works will be required to occur out of hours
Should any additional permits be required Kane Constructions will seek the necessary approvals through Noosa
Council.
ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS
There will be separate access points provide for the site. As outlined in Attachment A.
Pedestrian Access: Contractor access will be via a personnel gate adjacent Hoffman Drive. This will ensure
separation of workers from deliveries and overhead loading.
Vehicle Access (1): Piling/Retention works from the existing level will use a gated entry from the Access
Easement.
Vehicle Access (2): Following commencement of bulk excavations works, site access will be limited to a single
gated entry immediately adjacent the Hoffman Drive crossover.
SITE ESTABLISHMENT PAGE 7 OF 13

BASEMENT AND RETENTION WORKS
Construction and earthwork activities (including the entry and departure of heavy vehicles) must only occur
between the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday with no work on Sunday or Public Holidays. This
work time is to be carefully monitored and is to be varied dependent upon the assessed risk to the surrounding
residences. No work beyond management of site Erosion and Sediment Control Measures and the ongoing
management and suppression of dust is to occur outside these hours.
Deliveries will be controlled and scheduled in with the Site Manager in advance. Where a Subcontractor proposes
a delivery that clashes with another delivery the second request will be rejected and postponed to a suitable time
to ensure all trucks can pull into the site and not park in the surrounding streets.

4.1 RETENTION SYSTEMS
The proposed Basement Retention systems for this project are as outlined below and in Appendix B of this
document;
- Northern Boundary: Sheet Piling
- Eastern Boundary: Sheet Piling, with Contiguous/Secant piling to the Bunker enclosure
- Southern Boundary (adjacent neighbour) – Contiguous/Secant piling
- Northern Boundary (adjacent neighbour): Sheet Piling
Following site establishment, installation of Environmental controls and satisfaction of all ‘Prior to
Commencement’ tasks, works to strip and prepare the site for piling plant and equipment are to commence.
Pending final geotechnical advice, it is anticipated that this will involve importing a layer of suitable material to the
majority of the site area.
Retention works will commence at the South Eastern corner of the site with the installation of Contiguous/Secant
piling to the bunker enclosure to be completed prior to continuing along the Southern boundary for the balance of
the works.
Sheet piling activities to the balance of the site will be commence during this period, subject to final coordination
with vehicle access.
4.2 BULK EXCAVATION WORKS
Following completion of the relevant retention system installation and engineering approval, bulk excavation works
will commence. Key considerations in completion of the Bulk Excavation are as follows;
- During Bulk Excavation works, access is to be restricted to Vehicle Gate Access Gate 2
- Excavation works will again commence in the South Eastern corner of the site, with works to progress
across the site, working towards Gate 2 and the temporary ramp
- Should rock anchors be required, hold points will be programmed in the Bulk Excavation programme to
allow installation at appropriate centres. Where temporary anchors are required to extend under
neighbouring properties, consent and investigations will be completed well in advance of the scheduled
works onsite
- All vehicle movements during the Bulk excavation phase of the works, including Plant deliveries and
Truck and Dog for material removal are to maintain a forward out, forward in approach at Vehicle Gate
2
- Hold and release traffic management will be implemented as required to ensure safe exit and entry to
site, while maintaining access and minimising disruption at the shared easement.
All material to be removed from site will be disposed of in accordance with the relevant Environmental and
legislative requirements.
