Attachment 3—Reasons for referral agency response
(Given under section 56(7) of the Planning Act 2016)

The reasons for the SARA’s decision are:
 The application seeks a change (other) to a development permit for a material change of use to
   expand the Resource Recovery Area (Utility Installation) at 561 Eumundi Noosa Road, Doonan,
   formally described as lot 77 on SP298776.
 SARA assessed the application against the following of the State Development Assessment
   Provisions (SDAP v3.2):
       o State code 1: Development in a State controlled road environment
       o State code 16: Native vegetation clearing
 SARA determined that the proposed development complies with State codes 1 and 16 of the SDAP,
   subject to conditions to ensure the development:
       o does not compromise the safety, operational performance or physical integrity of the State
            controlled road
       o avoids and minimises the clearing of, and impacts to, native vegetation.
