The applicant provides the following additional information in response to the items: PLANNING 1 Further information is requested on how the noise from the increase in intensity of the activity will be mitigated and managed. This should include, but not limited to, a response to the amenity provisions within the Recreation Activities Code. The Netball Club includes an Operational Management Plan detailing the times and dates for use of the courts. To respect the amenity of the neighbouring dwellings, the Club will not use speakers and buzzers before 7:30am and conclude by 21:05pm Monday to Friday. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 An amended layout with the lights facing away from the residential properties or alternatively suitable justification for the proposed direction of the lighting. The additional lights are needed in the side locations to ensure compliance with the minimum lux requirements and to avoid goal shooters looking directly at the lights. The lights are facing downwards towards the courts and away from the neighbours. The poles have been recently installed as part of the Tewantin Sports Master Plan works. A picture of the poles is provided below and their impacts when viewed from the closest neighbour’s property. Location of lights and site images
