RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the Ordinary Meeting dated 18 May
2017 and agree to appoint Cr Frank Wilkie as Council’s representative on the Noosa Biosphere
Reserve Foundation Board in lieu of Mayor Tony Wellington.


REPORT
At the Ordinary Meeting on 28 April 2016, Council appointed the Mayor to the Noosa Biosphere
Reserve Foundation Board (refer to Council resolution dated 28 April 2016 below). The Council is
entitled to appoint one member to the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation Board.

After 12 months of undertaking that role, the Mayor has proposed that Cr Frank Wilkie take over
his position as Council’s representative on the Board. Cr Wilkie has advised the CEO that he is
supportive of that proposal.
