|              Noosa & District Landcare Group [NDLG] is pleased to support the application by the Noosa Shire
               Museum [Cooroora Historical Society] which seeks funds from the Noosa Council Heritage Levy for the
               acquisition of the Cooroora Masonic Lodge.
              ’ Built in 2003, the Masonic Lodge was Heritage listed in 2003, recognising the importance of the murals
               contained within. The Lodge is next door to the Museum. This is an exciting opportunity to provide more
               room for one on Noosa’s best kept secrets — the Noosa Shire Museum. The Museum is in need of
               additional space for its growing historical collections.
               Pomona is renowned for its Heritage buildings, and the addition of the Cooroora Masonic Lodge would
               add value to this portfolio for the Noosa community as a whole.
               Noosa Landcare values the great work done by the Museum, which is run by dedicated volunteers. We
               are delighted to be able to support this worthy application to Noosa Council.
