3.5 VEGETATION MANAGEMENT SUPPORTING MAP
The Vegetation Management Supporting Map identifies that Category B and Category C regulated
vegetation is mapped within the site (refer to Plate 6). The Category B remnant vegetation contains ‘of
concern’ Regional Ecosystem (RE) 12.9-10.1, which is described as Tall open forest often with Eucalyptus
resinifera, E. grandis, E. robusta and Corymbia intermedia on sedimentary rocks, usually coastal. The
Category C high value regrowth vegetation consists of heterogenous units of vegetation which are
mapped as containing the following Regional Ecosystems:
Of Concern RE 12.9-10.1 (60%) (described above) and Least Concern RE 12.9-10.17 (40%) which is
described as Eucalyptus acmenoides, E. major, E. siderophloia +/- Corymbia citriodora subsp.
variegata open forest on sedimentary rocks
Of Concern RE 12.3.11 (40%) which is described as Eucalyptus tereticornis +/- Eucalyptus siderophloia,
Corymbia intermedia open forest on alluvial plains usually near coast, Of Concern RE 12.3.2 (40%) which is
described as Eucalyptus grandis tall open forest on alluvial plains and Endangered RE 12.3.1 (20%) which is
described as Gallery rainforest (notophyll vine forest) on alluvial plains
