The only exception to the minimum lot size should be made where a portion of land is being
excised for conservation purposes and transferred to public ownership.
There is a sufficient supply of small to medium sized rural properties and there would seem to be
no reason to reduce the minimum lot size from 100 hectares as has been the case for over 10
years.
