Amended OBoats Development Assessment Report - Updated 300322
Attached to the e-mail Amended DA Form 1 & Amended Planning Report - MCU22/0048 & OPW22/0089 Combined Application for 222 Gympie Tce NOOSAVILLE.
PROJECT URBAN – 21280 2022
From the original approach from the land onto the central access jetty, a small hinged walkway on
the left leads down to a pontoon finger arrangement on the upstream side.

Currently, vessels are generally “rafted” together (moored side-by-side) for securing to the fingers.
Direct access for customers is only available to those vessels immediately beside a finger pontoon.
Other vessels are tied to the central access jetty with ropes and pulled into the jetty for access by
customers/passengers. This is not always a safe arrangement as the vessel deck lowers with the
outgoing tide creating a large step down from jetty deck to vessel deck.
