4.2 SUBJECT SITE FORESHORE


The subject site is on the southern bank of the Noosa River and surrounded by similar waterway
development and public reserve land use (see Figure 3 below). Access to the existing landing on
the site is through Ely Park beside the Noosa Riverside Tennis Courts. Immediately west (upstream)
is a timber jetty adjacent to Peter Park along with a public boat ramp and pontoon facility. Directly
east (downstream) is the Ely Park public jetty.
