Cash Management and Investment Performance
Total cash on hand at the end of April was $80 million. Included in this balance, are funds held in
trust and for restricted purposes (e.g. unexpended levy and grant funds) and monies committed
for funding capital projects during the year. The cash balance will progressively reduce towards
budget level over the remainder of the financial year as operational and capital expenditure
outstrips expected revenue.
The pie charts following present the mix of cash held at April 2018 by agency (graph on the left)
and by credit risk rating (graph on the right).
