SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES                                                                 30 NOVEMBER 2022


2    T000081 NOOSA WATERS LOCK AND WEIR RENEWAL – TENDER AWARD
     In accordance with Chapter 5B of the Local Government Act 2009, Cr Stewart provided the following
     declaration to the meeting of a declarable conflict of interest in this matter:
     I, Cr Stewart, inform the meeting that I have a declarable conflict of interest in this matter in relation to
     tender award contract T000081 for the design and construction of refurbishment works to the Noosa
     Waters Lock and Weir system as I am a resident of Noosa Waters, contribute to the levy and regularly
     utilise the Noosa Waters lock and weir system. As a result, of my conflict of interest I will now leave the
     meeting room while the matter is considered and voted on.


     Councillor Stewart left the meeting room.


     Cr Frank Wilkie assumed the Chair.

     Seconded:          Cr Finzel
     That Council note the report by the Project Manager to the Special Meeting dated 30 November
     2022 and award contract T000081 for the design and construction of refurbishment works to
     the Noosa Waters Lock and Weir system to Kellybourke Pty Ltd for the amount of $1,822,037
     excluding GST with the understanding that the cost will be refunded to Noosa Council via the
     established levy system.
                                                                            Carried unanimously.


     Cr Stewart returned to the meeting and resumed the Chair.
