TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I own an Apartment in the Parkridge Development on Resort Drive, Noosa Heads, opposite the proposed Noosa Springs Development .
I wish to lodge an objection to the proposed above detailed Development on the grounds that there is already insufficient road access in to this area for the number of people now residing here.
My concern is that in an emergency situation such as fire there is no safe exit for so many people and until more safe exit points are provided no further development should take place here.
Could you please advise me if any plan is being considered for this problem. One that I could suggest (if suggestions were being called for) is that now that Lakeview Rise is completed an access road could be put through from the top of Lakeview Rise to where Unity Water is off Wallum Lane. There is already a Fire Access gate very close to that point.

An existing problem that Resort Drive has is that it is a very narrow road and I feel that parking should only be allowed on one side of the Road (on the Noosa Springs side).
Clear vision is impaired for safe entrance to the road when  coming out of Parkridge where you have not only Residents from Parkridge but also Patrons from the Restaurant ,and when coming over the rise and down the hill clear vision is also impaired if cars are parked on both sides of the Road. There is also insufficient room for  a large vehicle to safely get through.

(I request that you pass this information on to the relevant authority in Council as this is an existing problem.  A no parking sign needs to  be put on the Parkridge side of the road.)
