The contractor has all the drawings etc and is seeking to get the full application before Council to kick off the SARA process – and we are also keen for that as we want the project delivered as part of commitments made to staff and the local nearby community and MP etc. But the contractor has again today asked us if the Owners Consent is finalised so they can have that ticked off for the application to be submitted. To answer your question, landholders must obtain owner’s consent from the Department of Resources when submitting development applications for some state land for work on land below the high-water mark and outside a canal, as defined under the Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995.
