The site currently gains access off a sealed access track that extends through the Great Sandy
Resources Reserve and connects to Beach Road to the south which is a gazetted road.
Documentation and aerial photography provided with the application indicates that the
campground has been operating beyond the approved boundaries since the 1980’s.
