Dear Sir
I refer to Application No: MCU13/0087
The area currently used by the Noosa Heads Bowls Club and car park is a very large
area whichcurrently provides important recreational activities for many older residents of
Noosa as well as attracting many overseas bowlers in the winter months.
I am sure that a meeting of town planners and architects could find a way to scale down
whatever Coles are planning and incorporate a smaller bowls club. Coles will be well
aware of the need to continue to be seen as a community focussed business.
This very important decision is being made by The Sunshine Coast Regional Council
literally moments before it ceases to be responsible for the Noosa area. It would make
a lot of sense for SCRC to claim" Caretaker mode" and allow consideration of the
above to be undertaken by the new Noosa Council.
