8.6 OVERLAYS

The following overlays exist upon the site:

  Bushfire Hazard Overlay
                                                      The eastern portion of the site is mapped as
                                                      being part of a potential bushfire impact buffer.

                                                      As specified in the Ecological and Bushfire
                                                      summary prepared by NCES, the proposed
                                                      residential care facility is located outside of the
                                                      impacted area and as such, no further
                                                      consideration of this matter is required.




  Regional Infrastructure Overlay
                                                      The subject site is mapped as containing water
                                                      supply pipelines, associated with the local utility
                                                      on the subject site.

                                                      The proposal plans show that the mapped
                                                      pipes are either located within the existing
                                                      easement on the site or outside the area
                                                      affected by the application proposal. On this
                                                      basis, this existing infrastructure is suitably
                                                      protected and will not be adversely affected by
                                                      the proposal in accordance with the
                                                      requirements set out in the Regional
                                                      Infrastructure Overlay.
