The remaining ecologically important area is to be
retained and a weed management program enacted to
maintain the natural diversity of the allotment.
AO1.2
The proposed dwelling house and associated large shed
have been positioned in an existing cleared area while the
small shed is adjacent to the access track in a vegetated
area at the northern end of the property. Given the
vegetation proposed for clearing for the smaller shed is
adjacent to the existing access track, it is the second most
lowest ecological value in the property following the
central, previously cleared area.
AO1.3
The proposed clearing for the dwelling house is being
undertaken in accordance with the bushfire hazard
assessment completed for the project to accommodate an
equivalent BAL 29 setback for the new dwelling.
