PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 11 FEBRUARY 2020
The Noosa Plan seeks to ensure that the community is provided with the services and infrastructure
needed in the current age of technology but not at the expense of the scenic amenity values and
rural character of the region. The planning scheme is clear in its intent to protect these values and
it is considered that the proposed development in the location identified by this proposal does not
meet the expectations of the community nor the overall intent of the Noosa Plan. The application
is recommended to Council for refusal.
