PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 11 FEBRUARY 2020
Amended plans received on 14/01/2020 document alterations to the proposal to include
realignment of the proposed access track to coincide with the existing access track into the property
for approximately 60 metres. A new gravel track, approximately 15m long is proposed to provide
vehicle access to the NBN compound. The proposed tower is intended to be sited on the premises
along the edge of a small ridge at an elevation of approximately RL 175.0m AHD. The tower
compound will be cut and filled to provide a level pad, with retaining walls constructed up to 1 metre
in height on the cut and filled embankments. From the proposed tower location, the site slopes
down towards Tablelands Road.
Realignment of the access track minimises the clearing needed to enable construction of the facility
in the selected location. The applicant maintains that 8 mature trees and 4 smaller trees will be
removed to make way for the construction area, access and proposed tower compound.
No other alterations were made to the original proposal.

NBN Tower Compound illustrate the plan and elevation of the proposed tower as per the
amended proposal.
