reasons for refusal
Council decided to refuse the request for the following reasons:
The proposed use is inconsistent with the prevailing permanent residential dwelling use occurring within proximity of the site.
The proposal has high potential to exceed acceptable levels of noise and traffic impacts resulting from short term accommodation in a low density residential setting.
The amenity impacts resulting from short term accommodation use cannot be regulated under a Superseded Planning Scheme request.
The introduction of the Noosa Plan 2020 is unlikely to have reduced the value of the interest in the premises.
