5.1 Substantially Different Development
Schedule 1 of the Development Assessment Rules (v3.0) (DA Rules) provides guidance for
proponents and regulators to determine what constitutes ‘substantially different
development’ against part (b)(i) of the Minor Change definition in Schedule 2 of the Planning
Act.
An assessment of the proposed change against the aspects of ‘substantially different
development’ is provided in Table 5-2 below.
