12.1.       GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Alternatives and substitutes
to be approved by Landscape Superintendent prior to manufacturer or purchase of materials.

Ensure all furniture items are treated with an anti-graffiti paint, such as Dry treat 'Stain-Proof Original' or
approved equivalent. Coating is to be applied prior to site delivery and installation.

Sample
Install product sample of each different furniture type showing materials, surface pattern, colour, finish and
joints for approval by the Landscape Architect. If acceptable, this sample should be retained as a quality
benchmark and shall form part of the finished works.

Footings
Install footings in accordance to manufactures specification. Shallow foundation for areas on structure and
over services chambers are to be installed in accordance to a structural engineer’s specification.
