Noosa Micro Brewery

1         Introduction
Raftsea Pty Ltd propose to build and operate a micro-brewery at 85 Rene Street, Noosaville. A noise and
odour assessment has been undertaken to support a material change of use application to be lodged
with Noosa Council in accordance with the advices provided through a pre-lodgement meeting with
Council dated 6 August 2014.


2         Location and sensitive land uses
The site is located on the eastern side of an industrial zoned area. The Noosa Civic shopping centre is
located approximately 160 m to the northeast of the site. The Emu Mountain Road is to the east of
Noosa Civic. The nearest residential areas to the proposal site are as follows:

   Houses approximately 500 m to the west of the site (Gumdale Ct and Casuarina Ct)
   Houses approximately 540 m to the southwest of the site (Wandoo Ct)
   Houses approximately 530 m to the west of the site (Attenuatta Pl)
   Houses approximately 630m to the northeast of the site (near Walter Hay Dr)
   Proposed residential houses 160 m to the east of the site (Hoffmann Dr)
