10. I (We) make the following submission: 
Objection: 1/ lack of economic need for such development. Already plenty of empty retail space in Noosa Junction, without the need for creating more, especially at the expense of valued parkland! 2/ Expansion of tavern and access to retail alcohol facilities,, when there is already a hotel within less than 1 km (Noosa Hill), Noosa Surf Club which provides a bar and drinking facilities and The Villa in Noosaville. There is also an existing liquor outlet in Noosa Fair. 3/ The surrounding parkland is well used by the community for a range of activities, and as such should be preserved, protected and even take this opportunity to expand it, all costs.
