Re:        Application for a Development Permit for Operational Work (Prescribed Tidal
           Works - Jetty) on land located 256 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville and described
           as Lot 158 on SP233178
           SCRC Reference: OPW 1012192
           DERM Reference: 20101007081


I act on behalf of Bayeno Pty Ltd which holds a lease for a Marine Facility over part
of the Noosa River foreshore. Bayeno Pty Ltd has applied to the Sunshine Coast
Regional Council (SCRC) for approval for a small ground level roofed deck that has
been added to the existing jetty. The SCRC has requested that the application take
the form of an application for a Development Permit for Prescribed Tidal Works. The
department has previously been involved in this matter in regard to the approval of a
variation to the lease boundaries and the issuing of evidence of resource entitlement.

The applicant has been advised that in accordance with the Sustainable Planning
Regulation 2009, Schedule 7, Table 2 item 13 the Department of Environment and
Resource Management has been identified as a referral concurrence agency for the
IDAS.

Pursuant to the relevant section of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009, please find
enclosed the following:-

      •    a copy of the Council's Acknowledgement Notice;
      n    a copy of the Development Application; and
      +•   a copy of the IDAS forms including Form 1 and 28.
