Anchoring
• Anchor at fixed intervals along route
1. Mark with string to align straight
2. Place anchors in both sides of the
road
3. For Neoloy-330, place stake anchor

6. Fasten Sections
WITH PNEUMATIC STAPLER
• End to End
– Align and interleaf ends of 2 sections
– Fasten seams of each strip
– Do not skip strips!
• Face to Face
– Align 2 sections (lengthwise)
– Fasten each end (seam)
– Continue fastening the seam of each
cell
– Do not skip cells!

6. Fasten Sections
STAPLE PROPERLY
• Staple on seams – not holes
• Do not skip cells or strips
• Must use correct no. of staples per height
• < PRS 075 mm – 3 staples (minimum)
• < PRS 100 mm – 4 staples
• < PRS 120 mm – 4 staples
• < PRS 150 mm – 5 staples
• < PRS 200 mm – 6 staples
NOTES:
* Must fasten at top and bottom of cell
* Staples must penetrate all strips and/or seams

Expand Verify
• Place on anchors on one side • Cells are opened to correct dimensions
• Stretch and place over anchors on opposite side • Cut out extra cells
• Stakes are removed after infill

8. Placing Infill
• Operating Vehicles
• Ensure 7 cm minimum infill before
driving on cells
• Minimize speed, braking, turning
• Placing Infill
• Overfill cells >7 cm above cells
• Limit drop height to 1m
• Compact infill with blade (shovel)
• Remove large debris
• No cells exposed

• Level, water & compact to required elevations and grades
• Remove anchors and large debris
9. Compaction • If total infill >20 cm, compact in separate layers
• >3 cm above cells AFTER full compaction
