Re: Breach Identified for property located at 32 Campbells Rd COOTHARABA
    QLD 4565, described as Lot 6 RP 810777 - Property No. 151837

Council has recently received a complaint with respect to the above mentioned
property in relation to earthworks. An inspection by a Council Officer has confirmed
there is currently a breach on site.
Earthworks at this scale requires a Development permit for the Operational Works
(Earthworks). Such approval has not been obtained and therefore the earthworks is
being undertaken in breach of both the Noosa Plan and the Planning Act 2016.
To resolve this matter, the following options are suggested:
    Stop the work;
    Make the site stable and put in place erosion and sediment control measures to
     prevent the runoff of sediment from the property;
    Proposed and implemented Erosion and Sediment Control measures must be
     certified by either a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
     and/or a Certified professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC)
    Lodge a development application for operational works (earthworks) to seek
     approval for the earthworks.
Please take action to address this matter and confirm in writing/email your actions by
close of business 22/01/2021, marked to the attention of Jamie Gordon. If you do not
respond to this request within this timeframe, we will review our options to remedy this
breach.
