2.    SITE DETAILS
2.1. Background
The site includes two separate parcels of land (i.e. 64 Poinciana Avenue and 5 Moorindil Street,
Tewantin) plus utilisation of on-street carparking.
The background of each parcel of land and the on street carparking is addressed separately
below.
64 Poinciana Avenue, Tewantin
64 Poinciana Street, Tewantin has been previously approved for several uses as follows:
23 September 1981, a new 2 storey building (570m² GFA) for ‘Professional Offices and a Testing
Laboratory’, including a maximum of 26 employees) was approved (Council Reference 1478)
(refer to Figure 6). The approval was conditioned to provide permanent covered and sealed car
parking on site for 9 vehicles (i.e. no additional visitor spaces). It is understood this development
permit commenced as approved.
