The proposed Car Wash hours of operation are between 5am to 10pm – 7 days per week. Table 4 shows a breakdown of the expected Car Wash
site patronage for a typical average weekday itemised into each different type of wash bay.
The Total System Capacity references the total water effluent (in Litres) that is to be discharged into the Holding Pit and treated by the Oil Water
Separator each hour. The Oil Water Separator Discharge Capacity references the output volume of the selected unit FX10,000- which can output
7,200L/hour. The Holding Tank Storage Spare Capacity refers to the additional volume of effluent water per hour that the Oil Water Separator can
treat prior to beginning to store excess effluent water in the Holding Pit. The Purple and Green shaded areas compare the system without/with
auto bay recycling system installed. The difference in the sewer output volume is substantial at ~20kL- even for an ‘average weekday’ operation!
