               Applicant’s Request
               The applicant has requested existing Condition 2 be amended and replaced with the following
               amended condition:

               2.      This development approval lapses if the use has not happened by 21 July 2030, unless an
                       application to extend the currency period is approved by Council.
               Assessment of Request
               Agree
               The applicant requests to amend Condition 2 of the development approval to add an additional
               year to the currency period. The development has not commenced and in order to facilitate the
               development the additional year will allow further time for this to occur. As the applicant requests
               1 year and it is likely to be inconsequential the extension to the currency period is supported.
               Recommendation
               It is recommended existing condition 2 be amended to read as follows:
               Currency Period
               2.      This development approval lapses if the use has not happened by 21 July 2029 2030, unless
                       an application to extend the currency period is approved by Council.
