You don't often get email from [email protected]. Learn why this is important

CAUTION: This email originated outside of Council. Do not open links or attachments
if the email is unexpected or unusual.

Because there isn’t development on a site doesn’t mean site was not serving an important
                 purpose.

Planning intent for this site. - zoning (Justifiably a local community expectation that land
purchased for cemetery so remains the intent use of the land.)

                 Joins low density residential land

Density of the development is overscale for the area and for Cooroy.

Dianella court is a residential road designed for access to 28 homes in the development.

Distance from Core function shops and services is extreme

Conflicts with things the community currently enjoys

                 Erodes Cooroy’s village feel

Out of proportion with existing building in the area

Quite different from existing buildings in the area – low density residential area

Medium density not intended in this area - Cooroy Town Plan

Impact will have on local character

Creation of concentrations of rental housing estates is to be avoided. Social and affordable
housing should be integrated throughout the community in areas with access to town facilities.

New housing should have low amenity impact on existing residents.
