Meeting dated 11 December 2018 regarding Planning & Environment Court Appeal No. 2843 of
2018 and agree to settle the appeal on the basis of revised Plan No. TP02 (Revision C) titled Street

REPORT
An appeal to the Planning & Environment Court was lodged in response to an application to change
a development approval for a duplex dwelling. The appeal sought that the Court approve the
application for a minor change to allow an additional open visitor car space for the duplex dwelling
currently under construction at 38 Park Crescent, Sunshine Beach.
The duplex dwelling was approved at 38 Park Crescent, Sunshine Beach in August 2017. The
approved duplex consists of 2 x two bedroom units with each unit having a rumpus room capable
of being used as a third bedroom. The duplex is currently under construction, is 3 storeys and just
under the maximum 12 metre height limit for the area. Two single garages with a zero front
boundary setback and 1 open visitor car space to the southern side of the garages was approved
for future residents/visitors. A copy of the approved plans are included as Attachment 1.
