8 Conclusion
A concept stormwater management plan has been prepared to manage stormwater quantity and quality for the
proposed development.
An on-site stormwater detention basin is proposed for the development. A stormwater quality treatment train
consisting of one conventional bioretention system is proposed for the development. It is proposed that the
bioretention system will be installed within the detention basin.
Runoff from the external catchment will be piped (up to and including 1% AEP design flows) through the
Development Area and will bypass both the proposed detention basin and treatment train.
Refer to Appendix C for the Preliminary Stormwater Layout Sketch. Final detention and bio-retention system
location, layout, sizing and outlet configuration will need to be undertaken as part of detailed design and after
revised detailed survey has been received.
