APPEAL NO 1786 of 2012
ANALYSIS OF TTM PARKING DATA

1. TTM Provided data for 31 sites, with 45 days of survey data (some sites were surveyed on multiple days).
2. The peak rate for sites with a valid survey date are listed in Table 1.
3. The seasonal adjustment factors listed in Table 2 were used to factor up slow trading months and factor down busy months.
4. Sites with very low adjusted demand rates were considered outliers and were excluded from subsequent analysis.
5. When the resultant data is plotted (see below) it indicates that:
 a. the peak perking demand rate decreases slowly as store size increases
 b. the peak parking demand rate for a 5,671m² GFA store would be in the order of 5.03 spaces / 100m² (ie 286 spaces)
