Please accept this written       submission    in support   for the development         application    at 215
David Low Way Peregian Beach.

I am very happy to see that the land behind the new supermarket                     is being developed     for
visitor accommodation         and some beach houses.         This is a very good use for this parcel of
land, as it is in the perfect    location   for people to come and enjoy the facilities          and gain
direct access to the Village and the surrounding            businesses, which will benefit greatly from
this additional    trade.

I regularly   come to visit Peregian Beach and would love the opportunity                 to stay so close to
the Village and not have to my vehicle and find a carpark if we want to shop or dine in this
area. If I were fortunate       enough to relocate to Peregian Beach, the opportunity                 to buy a
home in this precinct       would be the ideal location      as it is difficult   to buy something      so close
to the Village that is affordable      and offers choice of housing options.          I think that housing this
in this location   is a highly appropriate.    This development         is not excessive by any means and
has maintained      a 'true village feel' which is in keeping with the surroundings.
