Iam writing this letter in support of the proposed Medical Centre, to be located at 45 Maple
St, Cooroy.

I believe that the Medical Centre will significantly benefit the community by increasing the
range of medical services in the region, which has a catchment of over 100000 people. The
new development will complement the existing services provided by Eden Private Hospital
and Noosa Hospital.

As a GP working at Maple Street Surgery, I believe there is a clear need for health care
facilities to co-locate to provide optimal care for our growing patient population. Ease of
access to radiological services will be of significant benefit, particularly to the elderly and
acutely unwell.

I look forward to being able to access the services provided by this new development.
