Hi Planning Assessment

Please find attached the following documents in support of a new Impact assessable application for Entertainment & Dining Business Type 1 (Brewery Tasting Area) within an existing building situated at 130 Eumundi Noosa Road, Noosaville
(Lot 6/RP173876):

  *   Owners Consent
  *   DA Form 1
  *   Planning Report
  *   Att 1 – Proposal Plans
  *   Att 2 – Turning Templates

Relevant Fees
IMPACT – Entertainment & Dining Business Type 1 Food & Beverages - $6,557 + (70m2 x 8 = $560) = $7,117
Fee Multiplier of 3 = $21,351
Development within an existing building (25% discount) = $16,013

Fee Request
Considering the support for the previous two brewery applications within the Industry Zone, it is recommended the three time multiplier be waived as the assessment does not justify the multiplier relative to the assessment on a cost recovery basis. The following fee is considered applicable to the application, which may require an reporting to Council.

IMPACT – Entertainment & Dining Business Type 1 Food & Beverages - $6,557 + (70m2 x 8 = $560) = $7,117
Development within an existing building (25% discount) = $5,337.75

In this regard, it is recommended the Director of Environment and Sustainable Development use their delegated authority to determine to partially waive the strict application of the scheduled fee as it is obviously unreasonable for the type of application being received (as per 2018/19 Fees & Charges Register).

Please can you send the relevant application fee to John Scott Madill ([email protected])<mailto:[email protected])> with myself as CC.

If you require any additional information or plans, please do not hesitate to contact me.
