Additional Storey
The ground floor level does not meet the planning scheme’s requirements for a basement and
therefore the dwelling comprises 3 storeys (Refer to Figure 14). The proposed alterations include
lowering the roof form height of the master bedroom to reduce the overall building height. This
will also assist in reducing the dwelling’s bulky appearance further and minimise the visibility of
the third storey.
