The alterations result in an increased density of 22.5 persons. The proposed density does not
comply with the allowable density for the site which allows for 100 persons per hectare. The site
is 4.262 hectares in area allowing for a density of 426.2 persons. A density of 426.5 is proposed,
which represents a density of 100.07 persons per hectare. Accordingly, it is recommended to
amend condition 1 of the permit to include a requirement for the plans to demonstrate
compliance with the density requirements.
The amendments involve an alteration to the external appearance of buildings. The external
changes to Blocks 7, 8 and 9 are more substantial. These blocks were identified as buildings P,
Q and R on the previous plans.
