I strongly oppose to this duplex being used for SRT . We already have one on our block Unit 1 and others in Ann Street. This is a residential area not a holiday resort area. 14 Ann St has a pool in the front and limited parking , hence street crowded.
We already back onto STR from Elizabeth Street. Kids and parents yelling in the pools are quite disturbing and very disrespectful to us the residents. I also have a very sick husband at this time. I do not want the “job” of policing holiday makers. We moved to Noosaville and Ann St to be away from Gympie Terrace because it was a quiet street / area , only 2 storeys allowed and not Noosa Heads .We have been here 5 years and I feel now the residents are being very overlooked in lieu of money . The traffic is also becoming very busy up our street as a short cut to Mary Street. Yes we are a lovely tourist destination and I appreciate businesses need to make a living however if all accommodation is booked out unfortunately visitors will have to wait until the next holiday season. We just can’t have Noosa saturated with STR.
From my point of view and my lifestyle number 14 will certainly be impacted along with my husband and neighbours. Please consider stopping STR in Noosaville residential areas and ANN STREET. It shouldn’t be all about the money !!
