TO Mayor Mark Jamieson, 

Please encourage your Councillors to refuse the Cooroy Intensive Chicken Farm development application on 12 December 2013. This farm would be sited along a very dangerous narrow, dirt road, which cannot be feasibly upgraded to a safe standard. The unacceptable levels of odour, noise and dust will make life unbearable for the community and the dangerous traffic situation will certainly lead to loss of life. Pollution of the nearby waterways by the toxic shed litter is also totally unacceptable. It would be irresponsible in the extreme to approve this development application.
