The Port Authority is a concurrence agency if the

development is -

© within 200m of a shipping channel or an entry
and exit shipping coridor for the port

within 1000m of a swing basin, a commercial
shipping wharf, a mooring, anchorage or spoil
grounds;

© within 1000m_of a planned port facility
identified in a land use plan approved under
the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994.

In all other situation the Port Authority is an

advice agency.
